Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Management of Nursing Department

· Assist in Scheduling of Nursing Department

· Assist in Management of Regulatory Compliance

· Assist in Ensuring Provision of Quality Care and Service

· Assist in Staff Development and Education

· Assist in Fiscal Management of Department

· Collaborate with Facility Management

Nursing Management in a Skilled Nursing Facility Preferred.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to oversee our nursing department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating all nursing activities, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Duties
- Manage and supervise nursing staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
- Oversee patient care plans and ensure they are effectively carried out
- Monitor and maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements

Skills
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and nursing practices
- Experience in nurse management within a nursing home or healthcare setting
- Ability to manage nursing systems efficiently
- Proficiency in developing care plans and overseeing their implementation
- Familiarity with medical records management
- Knowledge of home health practices is a plus
