Pre-K Educator

Full-Time | littleborough Early Education Center Atlittleborough, we believe children learn best through play, exploration, and meaningful relationships. We are seeking a creative, nurturing, and dedicated Pre-K Teacher to join our team. This role is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment while fostering each child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. Qualifications EEC Pre-K Teacher Certification required Previous experience teaching in a Pre-K classroom required Availability during our operating hours (7:00 AM-6:00 PM) Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices Excellent communication and teamwork skills Reliable, organized, and committed to providing high-quality early childhood education Passion for play-based learning and building positive relationships with children and families Responsibilities Create and maintain a safe, healthy, and welcoming classroom environment while providing direct supervision of children. Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum that supports play-based learning and aligns with littleborough's educational philosophy. Observe, document, and communicate children\'s growth, milestones, and progress in accordance with EEC regulations. Collaborate with assistant teachers and program leadership to support children\'s individual needs and classroom success. Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers through clear, respectful communication. Develop daily schedules that balance indoor and outdoor play, quiet and active experiences, fine and gross motor activities, and opportunities for social-emotional growth. Support children\'s independence, curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Model positive behavior and guide children using developmentally appropriate practices. Maintain compliance with all EEC licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies. Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and ongoing training.
