CDL Class A Local Delivery Driver – Hanover, MD

We're looking for a CDL Class A Driver to join our team in Hanover, MD . This is a local, home-daily position offering consistent hours, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work with a respected transportation leader.

Pay & Schedule:

$29.36 per hour
Sunday through Friday
Dispatch times between 8:00 PM and 1:00 AM
Shifts typically 8–10 hours
Average 40–45 hours per week
Overtime required as business needs dictate

Job Responsibilities:

Safely operate an automatic transmission Class A tractor on local delivery routes.
Complete 2–3 deliveries per shift to customer locations.
Perform minimal touch freight using an electric pallet jack (EPJ) , with occasional down-stacking when required.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete all required DOT paperwork.
Maintain accurate delivery documentation.
Provide professional, courteous customer service while ensuring safe and timely deliveries.
Follow all DOT regulations and safety policies.

Qualifications:

Valid CDL Class A license
Current DOT Medical Card
Minimum 1 year of Class A driving experience operating similar equipment within the last 5 years
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work a flexible overnight schedule and overtime as needed
