Certified Nursing Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Saint John Paul II in Danbury, CT. Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, including bathing, dressing, and toileting patients
Assist patients with daily living activities, such as ambulation, transfers, and feeding
Monitor and report any changes in patients' condition to nursing staff
Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, which includes assisting with laundry and restocking supplies
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure seamless care transitions
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction

Requirements:

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Connecticut
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a long-term care setting (training and education will be provided)
Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment as needed
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care

Salary:
$20.45 HOURLY
