Companion Sales AssociateThe Companion Sales Associate is for directly assisting Sales Territory Managers while learning the Companion products, services, and sales process. This position will act as a utility player, filling in for various Sales Territory Managers while on leave as well as open positions that may arise nationally. This is a hybrid position as well as a first step in becoming a Sales Territory Manager. *Candidate must be willing to relocate to when management feels they are ready to become a Sales Territory Manager and a territory becomes available.Essential functions:SalesUnderstand the Consultative Sales ApproachAbility to be coached, learn and retain information, and develop sales skillsOpenness to take on more responsibility as management sees fitBe comfortable with prospecting, meeting in a professional manager with veterinarians and staff, and complete demonstration of productsDesire to become a best-in-class sales professional in the veterinary spaceDesire to participate in a "Sales Rotational" program learning various aspects of outside and inside salesInterested in traveling for up to 1 week at a time across the U.SAvailability to relocate as necessary when available Sales Territory Manager position becomes availableEnthusiasm to earn compensation based on performanceQualificationsSome sales experience or equivalent education idealBachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field required.General Skills/Competencies/Specialized Knowledge:Leveraging Resources – Efficiently uses Company resources such as time, money, materials and people.
