ICU Registered Nurse

Location: Corpus Christi, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day Shift: 07:00 - 19:00

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ICU unit comprises 24 beds and is staffed by a dedicated group of 50 professionals providing critical care to patients. The role includes working both day and night shifts, handling advanced medical equipment and performing vital procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions continuously.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform life-saving procedures such as intubation and central line placement.
• Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with healthcare professionals.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN License.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS.
• ICU experience is required; Level 1 or 2 trauma experience preferred.
• Experience with CV surgery procedures is advantageous.
