Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/02/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Position: Emergency Department RN Schedule: Three 12-hour days, 8:30 AM-9:00 PM, 36 hours a week; every other weekend; no guaranteed block schedule Experience: 3 years in specialty plus travel experience - the unit is high acuity; pediatrics experience preferred Required: NY RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, and TNCC or ATCN in hand; EPIC required Unit: 68-bed all-private-room emergency department in the new Wynn Hospital - Level 3 trauma center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, regional cardiac center (cath, EP, IR) and pediatrics, including super track, psych and trauma areas plus results-pending and occasional hallway beds. Ratios aim for 1:4-5 but shift with staffing, census and acuity Duties: Full emergency nursing with drips including TNK, Cleviprex and Level 1 infusion for MTP; supported by a PCT per pod, first-look and triage RNs, charge RN, secretary, RT and a critical response RN. SANE experience is welcomed - if the traveler has none, confirm they would be comfortable taking a patient needing the exam Note: Holiday RTO is limited - travelers must be able to work either the eve or the day of Christmas and of New Year; the schedule will not be known until closer to December.
