TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in New Orleans, Louisiana, 70121!

Job Title

Registered Nurse – ICU

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in a high-acuity ICU setting, including management of critically ill patients
• Perform and assist with pronation therapy for applicable patient populations
• Manage and titrate vasopressor medications per protocol
• Operate and monitor Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) dialysis equipment
• Deliver care to patients requiring COVID-related interventions
• Float to other units as required by facility needs

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Compact or Louisiana license required and must be in hand at time of submittal
• Minimum 2 years of experience in ICU specialty
• Current ACLS and BCLS certifications (AHA required)
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility (as verified by address on driver's license)
• NURSYS report required and must be current within 4 weeks of submission date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CPI certification
• NIHSS certification
• Prior experience with CRRT dialysis equipment
