Job Title: Phlebotomist - Farmington Hills Job Description

We are seeking a skilled phlebotomist to join our dynamic team in Farmington Hills. This role offers hands-on experience in an outpatient setting and involves both stationary and float positions, providing an excellent opportunity to enhance your phlebotomy skills.

• Draw patient blood samples approximately 25-30 times per day.
• Properly process and package the blood samples for shipment.
• Communicate daily with clinic staff to organize and schedule blood draws.
• Schedule the pick-ups and shipping of samples to the medical testing site in Novi/Farmington.

• At least 6 months of experience as a Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant.
• Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification or certificate.
• Ability to perform 200 plus solo blood draws.
• Knowledge of the order of draw and BD Vacutainer tube colors for multiple tube collections.

• High School Diploma required.

The team wears navy blue scrubs. The Farmington Hills location hosts about 15 people onsite. Offsite work may involve being with a team of 0-3 people depending on the location. Raises are offered at 6 months, providing a rewarding career path.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Farmington Hills, MI.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
