We help support our firm's diverse businesses, and we are excited to continue solidifying that foundation as we add more accomplished technologists to our team.The Opportunity:The Enterprise Architect (Investment Solutions) plans portions of the enterprise architecture environment, develops architectural principles and standards, and promotes alignment of technology to business needs. You will have a particular focus on the architecture and design of solutions to support Front, Middle and Back Office groups as part of Investment Solutions in running a large wealth management firm with a global presence. As a technical expert, you will partner with our internal technology teams, our partners, third-party vendors, and implementation partners. Your experience will help us build our technology transformation program and create multi-year roadmaps to align enterprise-wide solutions to Fisher's priorities. You will also survey the technology landscape and guide the evolution of the current environment to support future capabilities and requirements. You will report to the Vice President of Enterprise Architecture as a member of our team of experienced Enterprise Architects.The Day-to-Day:Define and oversee the adherence to enterprise architecture principles and standards across portions of applications, infrastructure, and information securityDefine the architecture and lead the selection of important platforms (both cloud and on-premises), products, and vendors to be utilized for programs across the enterpriseEnsure the architecture of applications and systems (especially cloud-based data and integration architecture, with CRD as a foundation, for Front and Middle Office functions & with SS&C GWP & Sylvan as a foundation, for Back office functions) is consistent with enterprise needs, and ascertain how application solutions are used to meet those enterprise needsLead technology and business teams to evaluate current technology solutions and plan, design, and coordinate multi-year roadmaps for all applications and support activities Survey the technology landscape to identify systems and solutions that align with firm strategy while collaborating with executive leadership to recommend, implement and maintain appropriate technology solutions Function as SME to Technology Business Services, Infrastructure and Operations, Information Security, 3rd party vendors, and implementation partnersFacilitate optimization of current state architecture during the transformation to future state architectureYour Qualifications:10+ year's combination of solution / technical / business architecture roles7+ years of experience leading solution / technical architecture team5+ years of architecture experience at a large wealth management or asset management firmBachelor's degree in information systems or related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experienceStrong knowledge of CRD in a wealth management context dealing with UMA portfolio structuresExperience with application, data, integration, security, and technology platform architectures and implementation patternsExperience with CRD & Sylvan strongly preferredExperience with Azure data and integration services preferredHighly advanced ability to investigate, analyze issues to take to resolutionExperience implementing multiple complex enterprise level changes simultaneously, including how to guide and measure adoption of best practicesProven experience leading, mentoring, and developing employeesExpertise in translating enterprise needs and problems into viable and accepted solutionsExpertise in decision-making, conflict resolution, and negotiation/influence skillsWhy Fisher Investments:We work for a bigger purpose: bettering the investment universe.
