Production SupervisorSupervise, coordinate, facilitate, and provide leadership to employees directly or through Group Leaders. Work closely with the test department to ensure the timely movement of units through the process and communicating test equipment issues. Our Facility in Appleton, WI manufactures state-of-the-art circuit boards for Aerospace and Defense as well as Industrial and Medical Industries.Standard Essential FunctionsProvide daily leadership and direction to employeesTrain, advise, and counsel employees on work processes and procedures as well as company policiesRegulate work flow to ensure maximum use of capacity and efficiency within departmentEnsure project and assignments remain consistent with company practices, policies, and regulations (for example: SOX, OSHA, Management System Standards)Interact and support all internal and external customers and set standards that promote good relations and communicationResearch, troubleshoot problems, and corrective actions to allow continuous improvementPromote the concept of individual responsibility for quality work and workmanship standardsTrack and monitor departmental performance objectivesParticipate in periodic audits to ensure compliance to company standardsParticipate in recruiting, selection, and development of all operations personnel through maintaining discipline and personnel relations, interviewing screened applicantsProvide input for hiring, terminations, transfers, salary adjustments, and promotionsCoordinate and schedule work in the test area to ensure weekly commits to the customer are metCommunicate test equipment issues to appropriate customer teamsAdhere to the General Requirements of Team MembersMaintain necessary recordsResponsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area.
