Lead as the inaugural Chief of the MyMichigan Health Cardiac Surgery Program
Shape a cardiac-only service line with 25% administrative time
Hold University of Michigan faculty employment and benefits while practicing at MyMichigan Health
Lead team building and partner across MyMichigan Health and Michigan Medicine to build a unified cardiac surgery program
Direct 600+ annual open-heart and structural heart procedures across 2 sites
Lead 320+ open cases and 200+ transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) procedures annually
Grow a cardiac surgery group planned to expand to 3 surgeons
Build with interventional, heart failure, and electrophysiology specialists, plus dedicated support staff
Work with cardiac-trained anesthesiologists, certified registered nurse anesthetists, and a dedicated structural heart team
