Export Compliance Manager
Have 3–5+ years of Export or Trade Compliance experience with ITAR and EAR regulations? This direct hire Export Compliance Manager opportunity could be a great next step in your career.
Join a well-established aerospace and defense manufacturer that designs critical systems and components for commercial aerospace, defense, and space applications. You'll become part of a collaborative, close-knit team with excellent employee retention, long-term stability, and the opportunity to serve as the primary export compliance resource supporting two manufacturing sites.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys partnering with engineering and cross-functional teams while ensuring compliance with U.S. export regulations, managing classifications and licensing activities, and serving as a trusted compliance expert.
Export Compliance Manager Duties:
- Perform export classifications (ECCN/USML), jurisdiction determinations, and support export licensing activities.
- Partner with engineering to review product changes and determine compliance impacts.
- Review export holds, conduct restricted party screenings, and ensure compliant shipments.
- Provide export compliance guidance and training to cross-functional teams.
- Support internal audits, investigations, and corporate trade compliance initiatives.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Day shift, onsite
Pay: $131,000-$163,000/yr.
Export Compliance Manager Requirements:
- 3–5+ years of Export or Trade Compliance experience with ITAR and EAR regulations.
- Experience performing ECCN/USML classifications and export licensing activities.
- Aerospace, defense, electronics, or other ITAR-regulated manufacturing experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
