About the Opportunity

Oxbow Talent is partnering with an ambitious, fast-growing US technology company to recruit 2–3 exceptional marketing and content professionals to help establish and scale its in-house marketing function.

The business has achieved impressive consumer growth in a relatively short period and is entering an exciting new phase of expansion.

This is an opportunity to join a small, entrepreneurial team and work directly with the founders to shape the company's brand identity, content strategy and community engagement.

We're looking for creative, energetic individuals who understand what makes content resonate with audiences and have a proven ability to turn ideas into engaging campaigns.

This is a highly hands-on role with genuine ownership, creative freedom and the opportunity to make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and develop organic social media content across TikTok, Instagram, X and LinkedIn.
• Create engaging short-form videos, graphics and social campaigns designed to drive organic growth.
• Develop creative content strategies that build brand awareness and audience engagement.
• Represent the brand on camera and at in-person community events.
• Plan and execute community activations, networking events and promotional initiatives.
• Develop and expand ambassador programmes and community partnerships.
• Work closely with the founders on brand positioning, messaging and creative direction.
• Support brand development projects, marketing campaigns and major product launches.
• Create high-quality visual assets and promotional materials.
• Use AI tools to improve content production, automate workflows and accelerate execution.
• Analyse social media performance and continuously optimise content and campaigns.

Essential Requirements

• A strong portfolio of original content you have personally created, including social media, video or design work.
• Experience managing or growing social media accounts for a company, startup, organisation or personal brand.
• Demonstrable ability to create engaging content that generates meaningful reach and engagement.
• Confident, charismatic personality with excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable appearing on camera and representing a brand publicly.
• Strong creative instincts with an eye for design, storytelling and visual quality.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ownership and work independently.
• Experience using AI tools to improve productivity and creative output.
• Ability to work fully on-site in New York City.
• Existing US work authorisation without the need for visa sponsorship.

Desirable Experience

• Built a personal social media following of 10,000+ followers.
• Created viral or exceptionally high-performing content.
• Experience in consumer technology, high-growth startups or digital-first brands.
• Organised community events, brand activations or ambassador programmes.
• Experience with Figma, video editing or other creative design tools.
• Developed a personal brand or portfolio showcasing creative projects.
• Experience working directly with founders or within small entrepreneurial teams.
