Android Developer - SunnyvaleLocation: Sunnyvale, CA – (Hybrid – 3 days on Site)Duration: 2 monthsRate: DOE U.S. Citizens and those who are authorized to work independently in the United States are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this timeRequirementsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field5+ years of experience building scalable e-commerce or mobile softwareStrong experience in mobile software development using JavaExperience with distributed version control systems (Git/Github)Proficiency in Scrum (agile methodology)Experience developing mobile network clients using REST APIs, and Google Cloud MessagingFamiliarity with Google Play APIs, including Maps, Location, and Cloud MessagingProficiency in software debugging techniques (debuggers, loggers, crash report tools)Ability to analyze memory issues using tools like DDMS, MATExperience with embedded real-time systems with limited resources (memory and processing)Extensive experience in Android software developmentKnowledge of design patterns, MVC, data structures, and algorithmsExperience with unit and integration testing for Android codeMust have published an Android applicationResponsibilitiesApply up-to-date expertise in mobile engineering to execute and improve action plansExecute mobile engineering projects, including small to medium-sized effortsParticipate in the discovery phase and peer code reviews of mobile engineering projectsProvide mobile engineering support and implement business solutionsTroubleshoot business and production issues for mobile devices
