Registered Nurse – Emergency Department
Location: Utica, NY
Rate: Up to $2300.00 Gross Weekly + benefits available from day 1
Shifts Available:
- 12-Hour Days | 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- 12-Hour Evenings | 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM
- 12-Hour Nights | 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Contract: 13-Week Contract | Local & Travel Accepted
Hours: 36 per week
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Pediatric Emergency Department experience required
- Previous travel experience required
- Active, unencumbered New York RN license
- EPIC experience required
- Charge Nurse experience highly preferred
- Must be able to float as needed
Certifications:
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS
- AHA PALS
- NIHSS
- TNCC
Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency nursing care for newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
- Assess, monitor, and treat patients with a wide range of emergency conditions including trauma, stroke, sepsis, cardiac emergencies, and respiratory failure
- Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and critical care drips
- Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care in a fast-paced emergency department
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Document patient care accurately in EPIC
- Float as needed to support patient care and departmental operations
