Provide direct, unsupervised treatment of minor/routine medical conditions. Perform histories, physicals, evaluations, and diagnosis of patients. Perform phone, telehealth, in-person, and emergency triage activities. Observe, record, and report patient condition and reaction to medications and treatments. Initiate diagnostic tests, prescribe and administer medications and treatments, and performs special tests such as ECG and audiograms. Provide direct counseling to patients and families on medical conditions, treatments and proper care. Handle in-person, written, and phone requests for information and advice. Prepare, interpret, and maintain medical records. Participate in professional development and community awareness activities. Provide after hours and/or weekend care as scheduled. Requirements Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner Program. Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse and ARNP in the state of Washington. -OR- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant training program. Must be licensed as a Physician Assistant in the State of Washington and have appropriate certification. Experience working in prompt care, same day or urgent care facility required.
