Flowers Early Learning is a high-quality preschool with locations throughout Berrien, Cass and Van Buren counties and currently has an opening for an Maintenance Technician based out of Dowagiac, Michigan.

Position Summary: The Maintenance Technician ensures the safe, efficient and reliable operation of multiple school properties across Southwest Michigan, including all interior and exterior facilities, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, light construction, light landscaping, permitting, recordkeeping and other duties to ensure that every property is adequately maintained under state and federal guidelines for licensed Head Start and childcare facilities.

Job Type: Full Time, Year-Round (12-months), Hourly, Non-Exempt

Expected Schedule: Monday- Friday, 8:00a-4:30p, 40 hours per week. Work hours may vary due to daily schedule and/or trainings.

Rate of Pay: AA: 22.62/hr. BA: $25.64/hr. Masters or Higher: $28.67/hr.

Education Requirement: Minimum- Associates Degree or equivalent with five years' previous experience with Facility Management, Maintenance and repair. Desired- Seven years' previous experience with Facility Management, Maintenance and repair.
