Software Engineer

Salary: $145,000 - 217,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline, plus at least 5 years of relevant experience; or a masters degree with at least 3 years of experience; or a PhD with no prior experience.
• We need proven experience building and operating large-scale, high-performance web applications with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• We expect proficiency integrating GraphQL or gRPC APIs.
• We value a strong understanding of UI/UX principles and data visualization best practices for presenting complex information clearly.
• We look for experience building or contributing to large-scale or distributed systems.
• We require a solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and core computer science fundamentals.

• We design, implement, and maintain features and services that support core business workflows.

• We collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data partners to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• We identify performance and scalability improvements and refine existing code accordingly.
• We share knowledge and support teammates through collaboration and feedback.
• We communicate technical ideas clearly and effectively within the team.
• We build and scale Hiring Insights, our employer-facing analytics product that turns jobseeker interactions into competitive intelligence and spend guidance.
• We create rich, data-driven user experiences in React and TypeScript.
• We integrate with GraphQL services powering employer analytics.
• We work with Snowflake and semantic views to troubleshoot and resolve data-layer issues.
• We own meaningful features end to end, including a major rebrand of Hiring Insights.
• We build custom narratives that answer employers top labor market questions.
• We expand the products presence across our employer-facing surfaces.
