Job Title: Business Analyst Duration: 8+ Months Location: Des Moines, IA (Onsite) Interview: Web Cam or In Person Responsibilities:Gather, analyze, document, and manage business and system requirements.Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, design documents, and process flows.Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership.Conduct business process analysis, process mapping, and identify improvement opportunities.Analyze data, perform data mapping, and support data modeling activities.Work closely with stakeholders to define business needs, evaluate solutions, and recommend improvements.Support Agile teams through backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, and user acceptance activities.Develop business cases, perform cost-benefit analysis, and assess risks and impacts.Ensure requirements traceability throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Support project governance, reporting, and compliance with established methodologies.Drive continuous improvement initiatives for business processes and supporting technologies.Required Qualifications:8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting large, complex IT systems.8+ years of experience with requirements gathering, user stories, acceptance criteria, and design documentation.8+ years of experience with SDLC methodologies and system development practices.8+ years of experience managing stakeholder expectations and priorities.8+ years of experience working within project governance structures.8+ years of experience using Microsoft development platforms and related technologies.6+ years of experience working in Agile environments.5+ years of experience with data mapping and data modeling.5+ years of experience using ALM tools such as Azure DevOps, TFS, VSTS, Jira, or RTC.5+ years of experience working with SQL Server Management Studio or other relational databases.Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Preferred Qualifications:Experience with enterprise data management, data governance, and information architecture.Knowledge of cloud technologies, application modernization, and integration initiatives.Experience conducting cost-benefit analysis, risk analysis, and impact assessments.Familiarity with data modeling standards and architecture analysis.Experience supporting large-scale enterprise transformation programs.Experience consulting with executive-level stakeholders and business leaders.Previous experience working with government or public-sector organizations.If you are interested, feel free to reach out to me directly at View email address on click.appcast.io HonorVet Technologies
