Van Meter Community School District Custodian Starting Date: Immediately Job Description. Van Meter Community School District is seeking a dedicated custodian to join our team. Anticipated hours: 2:00–10:00 PM with flexible scheduling as needed depending on events. We have been identified as an Iowa Top Workplace winner in 2024 and 2025 and are a progressive growing district located 10 miles west of West Des Moines. A comprehensive benefits package is offered with this position. Employees with proof of existing health insurance can choose to receive a monthly cash stipend in lieu of insurance. Employees receive 15 days of sick leave and 2 personal days each year. This position also includes paid vacation.
