HIRING IMMEDIATELY: WAREHOUSE CLERK IN MELROSE PARK, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Warehouse Clerk to join our team in Melrose Park, IL. This individual will be responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations by processing shipping and receiving paperwork, maintaining inventory records, coordinating with drivers and warehouse staff, and ensuring accurate documentation for all inbound and outbound shipments. Pay, Schedule, and Location
- Starting at $21 to $22/hour, paid weekly
- Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
- 3rd shift schedule, 8 pm to 5 am, Tuesday through Saturday
- Located in Melrose Park, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
- Process shipping and receiving paperwork accurately and efficiently
- Check drivers in and out of the facility
- Prepare bills of lading, packing lists, and other shipping documentation
- Enter inventory and shipment information into warehouse management systems
- Coordinate with warehouse associates, carriers, and customer service teams
- Verify inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy
- Maintain organized records and filing systems
- Respond to emails and phone inquiries regarding shipments
- Assist with inventory reporting and cycle count documentation
- Support daily warehouse operations and perform additional administrative duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
- Previous warehouse clerk, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience preferred
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and transportation required
