Registered Nurse - Cath Lab

Location: Texas

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cath Lab will be responsible for providing high-quality care during interventional radiology procedures and PCI (percutaneous coronary intervention). The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, showcasing a friendly and professional demeanor while remaining adaptable to the dynamic environment of the Cath Lab.

Responsibilities:

• Provide critical nursing care during invasive procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient conditions and react appropriately to any changes.
• Educate patients and their families about procedures and post-procedure care.
• Participate in on-call rotation for evenings and weekends as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Valid RN license in the state of Texas.
• Preferred experience in Cath Lab or interventional radiology settings.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
