Per Request Needed (PRN) Registered Nurse (RN) – Robertson & Middleton Units | Abilene, TX
Join our correctional healthcare team as a Per Request Needed (PRN) Registered Nurse (RN) serving the Robertson and Middleton Units in Abilene. This flexible opportunity is ideal for experienced, compassionate nurses who are committed to delivering exceptional patient care while enjoying the flexibility of a PRN schedule. PRN RNs are expected to work a minimum of four (4) 12-hour shifts per month based on departmental staffing needs. As a vital member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide professional nursing care, coordinate patient treatment, and promote positive patient outcomes in a secure correctional environment. You will practice in accordance with the Texas Nurse Practice Act, accepted nursing standards, and organizational policies while serving as a clinical leader and resource for the healthcare team.
Registered Nurse Shift Differential:
- Day Shift Employees: Earn an extra $4.00 per hour for shifts worked on Saturday and Sunday.
- Night Shift Employees:
- Earn an extra $4.00 per hour for shifts worked Monday through Friday.
- Earn an extra $8.00 per hour for shifts worked on Saturday and Sunday.
