Job Description
  • Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and design personalized therapy strategies to support them in reaching their functional aspirations.
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to boost patients' motor functions, cognitive skills, and daily activities.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide comprehensive and integrative care.
  • Educate Patients and Caregivers: Guide patients and their families on therapy methods to promote continued progress beyond sessions.
  • Monitor and Document Patient Progress: Evaluate clinical outcomes and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients are on their recovery paths.
Education
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Encouragement for continuing education or postgraduate certifications
Certifications
  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is essential
