Job Title: Cycle Counter Job Description

The Cycle Counter will support a warehouse-wide inventory project during the implementation of a new SAP system. In this role, you accurately count and measure items, verify current warehouse stock, and enter detailed inventory data into the new SAP platform. The position requires comfort with repetitive, detail-oriented work and the ability to follow established procedures with precision.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counting of all items in the warehouse to verify current inventory levels.

• Measure materials accurately using a tape measure and record measurements as needed.

• Enter inventory data into the SAP system and other computer-based tools with a high degree of accuracy.

• Compare physical counts to system records and help identify discrepancies in inventory control.

• Handle materials and products safely while moving, organizing, and counting stock.

• Support order picking, shipping, and receiving activities as they relate to inventory accuracy.

• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow established warehouse procedures.

• Perform basic math calculations to verify quantities, measurements, and counts.

• Work effectively in a small team environment, communicating clearly about inventory issues and progress.

• Maintain focus and attention to detail while performing repetitive, data-intensive tasks.

Essential Skills

• Experience with cycle counting and inventory processes.

• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure for material measurement.

• Inventory control experience, including verifying and reconciling stock levels.

• Data entry skills with the ability to input information into computer systems accurately.

• Basic math skills to perform counting, measuring, and quantity verification.

• Material handling experience in a warehouse setting.

• Order picking, shipping, and receiving experience related to inventory management.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in both counting and data entry.

• General computer skills and comfort working with inventory software.

This is a Contract position based out of Caldwell, ID.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
