Attendance/Media Clerk Position

We are currently accepting applications for an Attendance/Media Clerk position at Truman Elementary. This position is for the 2026-2027 school year, with an anticipated start date of August 11, 2026.

Requirements:

• Ability to work well with parents, teachers, students, administrators, and staff with courtesy, tact, and good judgment, including effective communication skills
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity handling information and documents
• Be of good character, neat in personal appearance, dependable, reliable, prompt, and flexible and have pleasing manners and personality
• Proficient in computer software with an emphasis in word processing, school databases, and spreadsheets
• Must be detail oriented and be able to conduct routine audits of attendance records
• Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly, work independently, performing individual projects and routine matters with minimal direction or supervision
• Must have the ability to think clearly in stressful situations, work well under pressure
• Attend all required professional development sessions and monthly meetings
• HS Diploma or equivalent

All persons recommended for employment must pass an extensive background check through the Division of Family Services, the Missouri Highway Patrol, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
