Respiratory Therapist - RRT THER – Travel TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Cleveland, Ohio. The position requires 32 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts and is a travel assignment. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to patients in a variety of clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines. Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients. Maintain appropriate patient records/documentation. Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories; evaluate equipment for proper function and report malfunctions to the director. Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines. Interact with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care for patients being treated. Respond to emergent situations that may require respiratory support. Qualifications and Physical Requirements Minimum 1 year of recent acute‑care experience as a respiratory therapist. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lean and stoop for long periods; must be able to lift 20 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Must have clear close, distance, color, peripheral and depth vision and ability to adjust focus. BLS certification required; ACLS required; PALS and NRP may be required in some areas. NBRC certification required; minimum 2 years of experience. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
