Job Description The Financial accountant is responsible to assist performing avariety of tasks to support the company’s financial operations. The role ensures accurate and timely recording of transactions, reconciliations and reporting. They will work closely with team members across commercial and other departments to support financial reporting and responsibilities. Prepare and maintain accurate financial accounts and accountingrecords. Assist with the preparation of account reconciliations. Analyze financial data for variances and provide explanations. 2 . MonthEnd Assist with the completion of monthly, quarterly and annual month end closeprocesses. Prepare general ledger journals, accruals, prepayments and adjustments. Document in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements. 3 Fixed AssetAccounting Assist with physical asset verification. Closure of capital projects and recognition of assets to the balancesheet. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting (desirable) or workingtowards. 2 + years’ accounting experience working in financial or asset accountingfields. Proficiency with MicrosoftSuite. Strong Communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and adhere todeadlines.
