This role supports the Commercial Lending department by analyzing and processing small business credit requests, renewals, and annual reviews.


Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Preparing loan presentations and reports.
• Reviewing financial and collateral documentation.
• Maintaining accurate loan records and ensuring compliance with lending policies and regulations.
• Supporting audits and regulatory reviews.
• Monitoring loan activity and providing professional member service while maintaining confidentiality, accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Expertise in math, finance, and computer applications with a requisite understanding of financial institution operations.
• Highly developed analytical and underwriting expertise, credit quality focus.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills, to include strong active listening and selling skills.
• Mature business judgment and decision-making.
• Must possess strong sales energy.
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with a strong collaborative mindset, actively supporting team members and contributing to a positive and high-performing environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to perform essential functions, including the ability to lift up to 10 lbs. as needed.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Three (3) years of similar or related experience.
• Experience in evaluating various financial documents for lending purposes.
• Must have strong relationship management experience and skills for key commercial and small business accounts.
