Senior Python Data Engineer

Owning and maintaining a sophisticated AI platform in production, the full-time Senior Generalist (Python, Data) Engineer will handle backend development, data engineering, and infrastructure work while operating autonomously in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Maintain, improve, and extend an AI platform already running in production Translate business and product requirements into technical decisions independently Establish and maintain engineering best practices for the platform Required qualifications 6+ years of hands-on engineering experience with production systems Strong production Python skills and solid software engineering fundamentals Hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, ECS, etc.) Experience with analytical data pipelines (SQL, Spark) and data processing at scale Autonomous working style, requiring minimal supervision
