We are seeking a highly experienced, Director of Operations to lead the launch and ongoing management of a newly developed Office-Based Lab (OBL) and Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). This leader will be responsible for operationalizing a fully built, multi-specialty procedural platform and driving clinical, financial, and strategic performance from day one. The facility includes: Two fully equipped cath labs (cardiac and vascular) with shared control room One fully functional operating room Six pre-operative bays and five PACU bays This role requires a hands-on operator with deep expertise in startup execution, regulatory compliance, physician alignment, revenue cycle, and growth strategy. Medical Benefits: EPO/HDHP/HSA options; including prescription coverage, RX’n go, and Teladoc Comprehensive dental and vision Employee Assistance Program, including counseling, legal, and financial services Flexible spending (FSA) and health savings (HAS) accounts Life and Disability insurance benefits Education/In-Service Opportunities including continuing education and tuition services Supplemental benefits: Accident, critical illness, cancer, pet, and identity theft protection insurance options Personal Travel Discounts 401(k) plans and discretionary employer match Generous Paid Benefit Time Responsibilities Startup Execution & Operational Launch Lead full activation of the OBL/ASC, including staffing, policies, workflows, and go-live readiness Develop and implement clinical and operational protocols across cath labs, OR, pre-op, and PACU Ensure readiness for initial cases, inspections, and accreditation Build scalable systems to support future growth in case volume and specialties Regulatory Compliance & Accreditation Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations (CMS, AAAHC, Joint Commission, etc.) Lead accreditation process and ongoing survey readiness Maintain policies and procedures aligned with OBL and ASC standards Oversee quality assurance, infection control, and patient safety programs Physician Recruitment & Alignment Partner with leadership to recruit high-quality interventional cardiology, vascular, and surgical specialists Develop physician alignment strategies including scheduling, governance participation, and incentives Serve as primary operational liaison to physicians to drive engagement and satisfaction Support onboarding and ramp-up of new physician partners Business Development & Growth Drive case volume growth through physician relationships, referral development, and service line expansion Identify new procedural opportunities across cardiovascular, vascular, and surgical specialties Collaborate on marketing and community outreach strategies Optimize utilization of cath labs, OR, and perioperative capacity Billing & Payer Strategy Ensure accurate CPT coding, charge capture, and documentation Optimize payer contracts and reimbursement dynamics Monitor financial KPIs including profitability and payor mix Financial & Operational Performance Own P&L performance, including budgeting and cost management Drive operational efficiency across staffing and supply chain Implement performance metrics (case times, turnover, utilization) Improve EBITDA and operational leverage Qualifications Required 7–10+ years of healthcare operations leadership experience Experience in ASC and/or OBL operations Proven experience launching or scaling a healthcare facility Strong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation requirements Demonstrated physician alignment experience Strong financial acumen with P&L responsibility Preferred Cardiovascular or vascular procedural experience Cath lab or surgical services background MBA, MHA, RN, or relevant advanced degree Private equity or high-growth environment experience About PAM Health PAM HEALTH (PAM) based in Enola, Pennsylvania, provides specialty healthcare services through more than 80 locations, as well as wound clinics and outpatient physical therapy locations, in 17 states.
