Registered Nurse - Med/Surg

Location: Nashville, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 3 shifts per week; 2 weekends per 4-week schedule.

Job Description: The Registered Nurse in the Med/Surg unit will provide attentive and compassionate care to patients and their families. Responsibilities include patient care, IV starts, wound care, and collaboration with healthcare teams to create and implement individualized care plans.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered care and support to patients and families.
• Conduct bedside shift reports and include patients in their plan of care.
• Perform basic nursing procedures, including starting IVs, managing surgical drains, and changing dressings.
• Monitor patient vitals and provide appropriate documentation using Meditech.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Med/Surg experience with the ability to prioritize care and multitask.
