Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team to work under our chiropractor. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, along with the ability to provide exceptional customer service. As a Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing patients' needs and delivering tailored massage therapies to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role requires a commitment to maintaining a professional environment while ensuring the highest level of patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and preferences.
- Utilize various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy to provide informed treatment.
- Create personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments and feedback.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a med spa setting when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of treatments provided and client progress.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist in a clinical or spa environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
- Demonstrated skills in customer service and patient assessment.
- Familiarity with various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
