MS/Tele RN - 4T Observation - Day Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12-Hour shifts, Days (07:00 - 19:30), with weekend requirements of every other weekend.

Job Description

The MS/Tele Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care in the observation unit, focusing on patients with varying medical needs. The nurse will work within a team to deliver patient-centered care utilizing evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients with medical and telemetry needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor vital signs and manage patient conditions effectively.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Document all patient care activities accurately in EPIC.
• Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers will be accepted.
• Active RN license in Maryland or Compact.
• BLS, NIH certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system required.
• Experience in a community hospital or LTAC setting preferred.
