Primary Care Physician physician job in New York :

A healthcare network in New York City is currently seeking a Primary Care Physician for their Brooklyn location to deliver high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting.

About the Opportunity:

Shift: Daytime
Schedule: Monday to Friday or potential for a four-day work week
Hours: 36 hours Clinical and 4 hours admin.
Setting: Outpatient
Patient Volume: 2-3 per hour

Responsibilities:

Collecting, recording, and maintaining patient information such as medical histories, reports, and examination results
Maintaining complete and accurate medical records
Providing quality clinical diagnostic skills in the delivery of patient care
Reviewing all test results and recommending suitable management for the patient, including preventive health recommendations and habits
Prescribing medications and formulating ongoing treatment and disease management plans
Participating in medical staff educational programs and meetings

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience
M.D. / D.O.
Board Eligible / Certified in Family or Internal Medicine
DEA/BLS/ACLS certified
Competency in diagnosis and treatment to ensure high standards of patient care and safety
Strong organizational skills
Excellent communication skills

Desired Skills:

Bilingual (Spanish and English)

Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
