As an insurance agent assistant, you’ll show our customers the value that comes with being a Farmers policyholder: preparing insurance quotes, advising customers on coverage, setting appointments and binding coverage — all without making a single cold call. Responsibilities Work directly with the Agency’s book of business and referral partners Generating accurate quotes at high volumes and binding policies Appointment setting Nurture strong customer relationships with focus to increase client retention and agency loyalty. Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding policy questions, changes, and updates. Issue Insurance Documentation as requested Utilize and navigate various computer systems and platforms to perform daily duties Maintaining accurate documentation in agency systems Conducting needs-based policy reviews and updating policies and coverage as needed Work with clients to deliver risk management strategies that fit their risk profiles Requirements Must be able to successfully complete Tennessee Property and Casualty Insurance requirements and agency training programs Demonstrates the highest level of technical and cognitive abilities to ensure accuracy and precision Ability to independently prioritize and organize the day Persuasive, proficient verbal and written communication skills Able to work independently in a collaborative environment. Demonstrate professionalism over the phone or in the office to create a positive work environment and ensure effective communication.
