Stand-Up Forklift Driver
Givens is driven to deliver- both for our customers and our employees. Since 1957 we have provided our customers a single source solution in warehouse, distribution, transportation, packing and crating and air freight services. We have been growing significantly over the last few years and continue to grow at a rapid pace. We are looking for Stand-Up Forklift Operators to join our team. This position is responsible for receiving, loading and unloading 53' trailers, flatbeds and containers as well as preparing material for shipping.
Requirements:
- Unload material to warehouse dock
- Identify damaged product or shortages and report to appropriate personnel
- Properly use RF scanners
- Pull material from location for shipping
- Load outbound trucks
- Ability to operate various types of equipment to include but not limited to picker, stand up lift, and electric lifts
- Shrink wrap pallets
- Ability to meet on time performance metrics
- Comply with policies/procedures including safety procedures
- Other duties as assigned
- Works to accomplish the Givens Mission every day through a dedication to the Givens Values of Integrity, Family, Drive
Experience Needed:
- Must have two years of Stand-Up Forklift experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Basic math skills necessary
- Valid forklift certificate or ability to obtain
- Excellent hand eye coordination
