Travel Surgical Tech/ORT - Certified Surgical Technologist/CST

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for an ambulatory surgery center OR position requiring at least 6 months of CST experience.

Job Details

• Work in an ambulatory surgery center OR unit within a multi-specialty facility,
• Unit staffing includes charge RNs, OR techs, radiology techs, LPNs, and RNs,
• One RN and one OR tech staffed per room,
• Uses specialized equipment including Stryker Towers, Hana table, Alcon Constellation/Centurion, Lumera 700, Stryker Power & scopes, and Neptune systems,
• Performs procedures such as knee scopes, ACL repairs, rotator cuff repairs, vitrectomy, lap hernia, lap chole, bunionectomy, cataract surgery, sling procedures, hysteroscopy, and cystoscopy,
• Specialties include general surgery, GI, orthopedics, pain management, total joint replacement, and ophthalmology (cataract and retina),
• Day shift schedule beginning with a 6:30 AM huddle and 7:00 AM case start, typically 8-10 hour shifts,
• 13-week assignment,

Job Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience as a CST,
• Active BLS certification,
• Active NBSTA certification,
• Active DORA certification,
• State licensure required if applicable,
• Orthopedic experience (ACLs, RCRs, knee scopes) and total joint experience preferred,
• ENT experience including septoplasty, SMR, T&A, and stapedectomy preferred,
• Instrument room experience preferred,
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration,
