Phlebotomy TechnicianPay Range: $17.50hr - $20.50hrRequirement/Must Have:Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.High school diploma or equivalent is required.Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic training is preferred.Phlebotomy certification is preferred.Minimum of 6 months experience is required.Customer service experience in a retail or service environment is preferred.Keyboard and data entry experience is required.Covid Vaccination is required.Responsibilities:Represent the organization to patients as part of their health routine or for insights into health decisions.Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.Maintain direct contact with patients and create an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures.Draw blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.Demonstrate leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence and sensitivity to confidentiality.Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.Maintain a safe and professional environment.Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.Maintain required records and documentation.Promote a positive image to patients, employees, and the public.Nice to Have:One+ years phlebotomy experience preferred.Skills:Phlebotomy.Pediatric Phlebotomy.Geriatric Phlebotomy.Specimen Processing.Data Entry.Customer Service.Qualification And Education:High school diploma or equivalent.Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred.Phlebotomy certification preferred.
