FULL-TIME Licensed Practical Nurse at LOSMC - Larose Purpose: The purpose of the Office Nurse Position is to be responsible for the functions of the office and assist the physician. Qualifications: A graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing. Currently licensed as a Nurse in the State of Louisiana. Willingness to work with people regardless of condition(s), which may be difficult to deal with. Possess skills in triage. Maintain current CPR. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. Working Conditions: Employee will be lifting and carrying up to 10 pounds approximately 15% of the day. Employee will be sitting approximately 20% of the day. Employee will be standing and walking approximately 40% of the day. Employee will be twisting, climbing, kneeling, stooping, and bending approximately 15% of the day. Employee will be reaching at or above shoulder level approximately 10% of the day.
