We pride ourselves on craftsmanship of high-quality menus (leather, metal, wood and printed), long-standing customer relationships, and a collaborative workplace culture.We are a fast paced, continuously growing organization that is looking for candidates with a proven track record of reliability and a desire to grow with the company offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, shape the future of our creative and service operations, and grow with a business that values integrity, creativity, and people.SummaryThe Shipping Technician is responsible for preparing, packing, and processing outgoing shipments in a timely and accurate manner; inventory management; and receiving functions.Essential Job DutiesPrepare and package products for shipment using appropriate materials to prevent damage.Verify and complete shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and shipping labels.Schedule and coordinate with shipping carriers.Maintain accurate records of all outgoing shipments.Inspect outgoing packages to ensure compliance with company quality and safety standards.Operate shipping equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and label printers.Monitor and manage inventory of shipping supplies.Collaborate with the production team to meet shipping deadlines.Other duties as assigned.Required Skills/AbilitiesForklift certification is a plus but not required.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Basic computer skills and knowledge or inventory or ERP systems.Familiarity with shipping systems (e.g., FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip) is a plus.Education/ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED.1-2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred.Position DetailsShift: Monday – Friday, time TBDDirect Reports: NoFLSA Status: Non-ExemptCompensation: $17 – $24 hourly (based on experience)BenefitsHealth Insurance: medical, dental & visionCompany paid Basic Life/AD&D & Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Voluntary Benefit Plans: Life/AD&D, FSA, HSA, Short-term disability, pet insurance401(k) with company contributionCompany paid holidays (10 days) & PTO packageWorking Conditions and Physical RequirementsThis position operates in a manufacturing plant environment and is exposed to fluctuating temperatures in certain areas; noises; working around machinery with moving parts; working in close proximity to others; potential trip hazards due to materials, tools, or equipment in the work area; and possible exposure to strong odors.
