Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Onsite | Nights (3p–3a with flexibility to work 7p–7a; must be available for both shifts) | Weekend requirement: 6 shifts in 6 weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a combined adult and pediatric emergency department across all zones
• Manage a diverse patient population including STEMI, stroke, sprains, lacerations requiring sutures, and high-acuity cases
• Administer and monitor IV drips including routine vasopressors, insulin, and sedation medications
• Maintain safe patient ratios, typically 4:1, with flexibility during peak census periods
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver timely, high-quality emergency care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience
• Experience with both adult and pediatric emergency patients (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (required)
• PALS certification (required)
• NIHSS certification (required)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification preferred
• Experience managing high-acuity patients including STEMI and stroke protocols
