Assisted Living Nurse Manager (RN/LPN)

Chicago, IL – Southwest Side | Full-Time | Permanent Position

Lead Resident Care in a Beautiful, Boutique Assisted Living Community

Talent Solutions Group is recruiting an experienced and compassionate Assisted Living Nurse Manager for a well-established, high-quality senior living community on Chicago's Southwest Side.

This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys working closely with residents, families, and caregivers in a smaller, more personalized setting.

Unlike larger facilities, this community offers an intimate environment where the nursing leader can build meaningful relationships, maintain high standards of care, and make a visible difference every day.

We're seeking someone who combines strong clinical judgment with leadership skills, organization, and a genuine commitment to exceptional resident care.

What You'll Do

• Oversee daily nursing and resident care operations within the assisted living community.
• Lead, support, and coordinate caregivers and nursing staff.
• Monitor resident health, changes in condition, and ongoing care needs.
• Coordinate resident assessments, service plans, and care documentation.
• Oversee medication management and ensure appropriate nursing practices.
• Communicate regularly with residents, families, physicians, and outside healthcare providers.
• Support staff training, scheduling, and performance improvement.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Illinois assisted living regulations and facility policies.
• Promote a welcoming, respectful, and resident-centered environment.

What We're Looking For

• Active Illinois RN or LPN license.
• Nursing experience in assisted living, senior living, long-term care, skilled nursing, or a related setting.
• Previous supervisory, charge nurse, or nursing management experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, medication management, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Comfortable leading a small team while remaining hands-on and accessible.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing outstanding resident care.
