Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients in a professional, courteous manner at the front desk
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using medical scheduling software
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays and patient payments
• Answer and triage incoming phone calls, relay messages, and respond to patient inquiries
• Maintain and update accurate patient records and demographics in the EMR system
• Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and communication with insurance providers
• Ensure the front desk and waiting area remain organized and welcoming at all times

Requirements:

• Prior medical office front desk or receptionist experience is required
• ***MUST SPEAK SPANISH***'

• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and medical scheduling software
• Knowledge of insurance verification, co-pay collection, and prior authorizations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume clinical setting
• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical administrative certification a plus
