We are looking for a Regional Philanthropy Senior Officer who will meet fundraising goals and objectives and connect with our individual donors and to serve our mission. In this role, you will identify, engage, cultivate, solicit, and steward current and prospective regional individual donors in expanding their financial support of the work of the Colorado/Wyoming Red Cross Region.Prefer a candidate in the Denver area. This is a hybrid work position which includes a mix of virtual and in-office work (2-3 days/week). The position also requires frequent travel for face-to-face meetings with donors, staff and other constituents.Build and deepen meaningful relationships with current and prospective individual donors throughout the Denver area and Western Colorado, guiding them from initial connection through long?term stewardship.Partner with the local fundraising team to design and execute a regional donor strategy focused on qualification, retention, growth, and re?engagement of past supporters.Collaborate cross?functionally with fundraising colleagues and internal partners to create customized solicitation strategies that align donor interests with organizational priorities.Manage and actively solicit an assigned portfolio of donors through in?person visits and virtual meetings, including preparation of compelling, personalized proposals and materials.Achieve annual revenue goals by successfully cultivating and stewarding a portfolio of donors and prospects.Lead and implement a major gift strategy focused on donors giving $10,000 or more, with a strong emphasis on maximizing philanthropic impact for the American Red Cross.Maintain accurate and timely donor records, activity tracking, and portfolio management within Salesforce.Help donors find purpose and meaning through their philanthropy by connecting their passions to the life?saving mission of the American Red Cross.Participate in disaster relief fundraising efforts as needed, supporting the organization's response during times of greatest need.Will drive vehicle to other locations. Responsible for providing own transportation for business purposes or use a Red Cross fleet vehicle.Education: Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree highly desirable.Experience: Minimum 7 years of sales and/or fundraising experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.Skills & Abilities: Ability to relate well and work effectively with multiple constituencies and audiences. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Knowledge of office systems: MS-Office preferred and fundraising database systems (e.g., Raiser's Edge, Salesforce.com). Ability to work on a team within a collaborative environment and ensure the highest customer service orientation.A current valid driver's license and good driving record is required.Frequent travel within the Denver area and 1-2 times a year into western Colorado. May travel into Wyoming 1-2 times a year for donor visits.Compensation: The salary range for this position is $95,000- $102,000. You will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan based on annual individual and organization performance.Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have, and comparison to other employees already in this role. This job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded.This role is not eligible for relocation assistance.Deep fundraising experience in the Denver areaDemonstrated ability to engage high?net?worth individuals, community partners, and philanthropic networks across the area.Physical requirements are those present in normal office environment conditions. Operational flexibility is required to meet sudden and unpredictable needs. Ability to use a personal computer, applicable software, and office equipment for sustained periods of time.
