Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close activities. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with hands-on experience across core accounting functions and a strong foundation in general ledger accounting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Assist with month-end close activities
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate variances
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
- 3–5 years of accounting experience
- Strong hands-on experience with AR, AP, bank reconciliations, month-end close, and journal entries
- Solid understanding of GAAP and strong Excel skills; ERP system experience a plus
