Overview Door Frames and Hardware Commercial Estimator MGM Associates INC•Tucson, AZ, US We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Door Frames and Hardware Commercial Estimator to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for bidding quotes and reading blueprints. Time management and deadlines are essential. Responsibilities Prepare and submit accurate cost estimates for door frames and hardware assemblies. Read, interpret, and extract quantity takeoffs from blueprints and specifications. Develop estimates covering materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors, and other direct and indirect costs. Coordinate with project teams to ensure estimations align with project scope and timelines. Identify and resolve potential design or site issues that could affect cost. Analyze bids from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing. Qualifications Experience in commercial construction estimation, preferably in doors, frames, and hardware. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications. Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
