Support Staff

Northwestern Legal Services is seeking qualified & diverse applicants for one (1) full-time (35 hrs/wk) Support Staff position in our Erie, PA office. We are a PA nonprofit legal aid organization providing free civil legal services to low-income people with civil legal issues in 10 northwestern counties of PA. 

Job duties include clerical activities such as interacting with the public, answering phones & making calls, managing appointments, maintaining a client database, making referrals, drafting & mailing letters, and providing general office & attorney support. Applicants should have basic typing & computer skills & be able to maintain professionalism & tact while dealing with a variety of different clients & staff. Knowledge of MS Word, Outlook & Excel is expected. The ability to speak Spanish is a plus.

Starting annual salary: $29,120+ . Salary increases with prior relevant experience & skills.
