We are seeking a Class A CDL Driver to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport finished goods and consumer materials over land to and from manufacturing plants, warehouses, or retail and distribution centers
- Inspect tractors/commercial truck for mechanical items, safety issues, and perform preventative & routine maintenance
- Plan routes and meet delivery scheduling and appointments on time
- Use of ELD/Electronic Logbook to document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
- Comply with FMCSA/DOT commercial truck driving rules and regulations (logbooks, size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
- Maneuver trucks and trailers into loading or unloading positions
- Report defects, accidents and/or violations to supervisor
- Communicate effectively and positively with customers and staff
- Regional Oregon route
Qualifications:
- Established CDL driver with valid license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- No recent moving or driving violations within 1 year
- No avoidable accidents within 1 year
- Ability to be flexible, drive long hours, and travel regularly
- Excellent customer service skills
- Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, ELD units, CB etc)
- Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, delays, etc
- Strong work ethic

- Monday - Friday Night/Overnight Shift
- Home daily
- Occasional Holidays
